📝 Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee in Purchasing at Volvo Group, you will:

• Maintain handler logs, portfolio activities & order management.

• Manage RFQs – launching, tracking supplier quotes & resolving supplier queries.

• Compile, analyze supplier quotes, prepare cost breakdowns & summaries.

• Handle price discrepancy issues & coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

• Perform analysis for buyers like:

  • Price inconsistency & evolution reports

  • 80/20 analysis, ABC classification

  • Supplier spend, volume trend & deep dive analysis

• Support supplier onboarding (EDI connections, portal access, supplier codes).

• Assist in taxonomy, segmentation and maintenance of department dashboards & reports.
