Avalara is hiring for an HS Classification Specialist, a critical role that ensures products are correctly classified according to global Harmonised System (HS) codes. This classification is essential for seamless cross-border transactions and to minimize customs delays or penalties.
You’ll collaborate with Avalara’s supply chain, logistics, and legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance, maintain audit-ready documentation, and stay updated on international trade laws.
🛠 What You’ll Do

Classify Products: Accurately assign HS codes to products under global trade regulations.

Tariff Interpretation: Analyse product specs to determine the right tariff classifications.
