The Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs has released a bumper notification for 8,704 vacancies across India. Eligible candidates can apply for Security Assistant/Executive (SA/Exe) and Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive (ACIO-II/Exe) roles before the deadlines mentioned below.

🚨 Security Assistant/Executive (SA/Exe)

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: 10th pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board

• Domicile: Must possess a domicile certificate of the state applied for

• Language Requirement: Knowledge of any one local language/dialect of that region

• Desirable: Field experience in Intelligence work

Age Limit (as on 17 August 2025)

• 18 to 27 years

• Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years

  • OBC: 3 years

  • Departmental Candidates: up to 40 years

  • Widows/Divorced Women: up to 35–40 years

  • Ex-Servicemen and Sportspersons: as per Govt. rules

Salary & Benefits

• Pay Level 3: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100

• Special Security Allowance: 20% of Basic Pay

• Holiday Compensation: Max 30 days/year

1. Tier-I: Online Objective Test (100 Marks, 1 Hour)

   • General Awareness

   • Quantitative Aptitude

   • Logical Reasoning

   • English Language

   • General Studies

   • ❌ Negative Marking: ¼ mark for each wrong answer

2. Tier-II: Descriptive Test (50 Marks, 1 Hour)

   • Translation (Local language ↔ English)

   • Qualifying in nature (Minimum 20/50 marks required)

3. Tier-III: Interview/Personality Test (50 Marks)

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university

• Desirable: Computer knowledge

Age Limit (as on 10 August 2025)

• 18 to 27 years

• Relaxations are available as per government rules for SC/ST, OBC, departmental candidates, ex-servicemen, widows, and sports persons.

Salary & Benefits

• Pay Level 7: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400

• Special Security Allowance: 20% of Basic Pay

• Holiday Compensation: Max 30 days/year
