What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As an Associate Test Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our development lifecycle, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. You will:

Plan and Execute Tests: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts for our applications and web resources.
Master the Testing Lifecycle: Engage in all phases of testing, including Function, Regression, Performance, Smoke, and UI testing.
Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and tech leads to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure defect resolution.
Track and Report: Use defect tracking tools to document, track, and report issues effectively.
Contribute to Strategy: Help with test estimation, planning, and strategy, and identify areas for process improvement and automation.
Work in an Agile Environment: Actively participate in an Agile development process, providing valuable input on quality and testing.

What You’ll Need to Succeed (Skills & Qualifications)

We are looking for candidates with a strong theoretical foundation in software testing and a great attitude towards learning.

Must-Haves:

✅ Education: A degree in Computer Science (BCA, MCA, B.Sc., or M.Sc.).
✅ Testing Knowledge: A good understanding of SDLC, STLC processes, and core testing concepts.
✅ Manual Testing Skills: Strong knowledge of test planning, test case writing, and execution.
✅ Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a global team.

Bonus Points If You Have:

🔥 Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries.
🔥 Familiarity with Agile methodology.
🔥 Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
