Role Summary

As a Transportation Specialist, you will be the communication bridge between carriers, shippers, warehouses, and Amazon sites, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation operations across inbound and outbound networks.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders (Amazon sites, business teams) and external stakeholders (carriers, vendors, drivers, and shippers).
Support inbound operations by ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of freight from vendors to Amazon facilities.
Support outbound operations by ensuring on-time departure and delivery of outbound shipments.
Handle operational exceptions, including weather-related disruptions, scheduling conflicts, or network delays.
Perform tasks such as load scheduling, cancellations, network capacity support, and equipment management.
Use internal Amazon tools, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel to monitor, analyze, and manage daily operations.
Identify trends, propose process improvements, and assist in automation projects to streamline operations.
Ensure timely escalation and resolution of transportation issues.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 18 years of age.
High School Diploma, Graduation, or Post-Graduation (any stream).
Freshers are welcome — strong English communication skills (verbal and written) are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Excel (basic functions).
Exposure to customer support or operations support is a plus but not mandatory.
