Role Summary

As an Operations Support Apprentice, you’ll assist the GCOO Payment Services team with daily operations, regulatory processes, and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and administration of capital account transactions, including regulatory filings, RBI liaison, and customer queries.

• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned activities.

• Assist in automation projects within the operations team.

• Ensure compliance with internal control standards and implement audit recommendations.

• Maintain a strong focus on risk awareness and operational compliance as per HSBC standards.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Graduation or Post-Graduation from a UGC-recognised university.

• Must have valid mark sheets and degree/provisional certificates.

• Only candidates who completed their degree within the last 0–5 years are eligible.

• Must not have participated in any government-regulated apprenticeship program previously.

• Strong people and stakeholder management abilities.

• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Additional Information

• Apprentices will be registered in the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal.

• On completion of the 12-month apprenticeship, candidates will receive a Certificate of Proficiency issued by the Government of India.

• This is a fixed-term role, and continuation beyond the apprenticeship tenure will be subject to performance and HSBC requirements.
