Job Description

As an IT Support Trainee, you will assist in maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure at the hotel. Your responsibilities include:

Providing technical support and troubleshooting IT issues across hotel systems.
Training managers and staff on the effective use of hotel applications.
Collaborating with the corporate helpdesk and IT teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
Maintaining hotel user accounts across Opera, Connect, Radisson Learning Network, and other hotel platforms.
Scheduling system updates and communicating changes to the relevant hotel staff.

Key Responsibilities

Network & System Management

Monitor and maintain network availability and security for both guests and employees.
Ensure compliance with corporate IT security guidelines.
Manage and troubleshoot wireless network connectivity issues.

Technical Updates & Training

Stay updated on new technical releases, system patches, and upgrades.
Attend training sessions and certifications to stay proficient in hotel-specific applications.
Share update schedules and downtime notifications with internal teams.

Vendor Management

Establish and maintain vendor relationships for IT equipment and services.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Manage requests for proposals (RFPs) for IT-related procurements.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of IT support, networking, and system administration.
Familiarity with Windows systems, hotel management software, or hospitality IT platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
