Role overview – Analyst Trainee (multiple tracks)
Cognizant offers four distinct Analyst Trainee career tracks, allowing you to choose or be aligned based on your credentials and interview performance. Each track combines technical learning, hands‑on project work and client interaction within Cognizant’s global delivery network.
Track 1: IT & Integrated Smart Operations
Focus on database management, IT service operations and data analytics; handle CRUD operations, stored procedures, test case design and service ticket resolution.
Track 2: Multicloud
Focus on computing infrastructure, cloud environments and incident management; administer servers, monitor production systems and provide support across Windows, Network, Database, Storage and Cloud platforms.
Track 3: Digital Workplace Services
Focus on first‑line technical support and end‑user IT troubleshooting; provide hardware/software diagnostics, ticket management and knowledge base support across diverse global client communities.
Track 4: IT Practice (general)

Key responsibilities by track
Analyst Trainee – IT & Integrated Smart Operations:

Describe relationships between database tables and write queries to retrieve data

Perform CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete) and write stored procedures
