Job Description

We are seeking a Data Engineer who is eager to take initiative and grow within a modern cloud-based data engineering ecosystem. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise-scale data platforms, analytics systems, and SaaS integrations.

You will work closely with senior engineers and business stakeholders to design, build, and maintain reliable data solutions while learning best practices in data engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL / ELT data pipelines.
  • Support data ingestion and transformation across cloud platforms like Azure, Snowflake, Amazon S3, and Redshift.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries for transformation and analytics.
  • Work with medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
  • Assist in data modeling, profiling, and migration tasks.
  • Monitor data pipelines and identify data quality issues.
  • Develop automated tests and validation scripts.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand data requirements.
  • Support integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, APIs, and SaaS platforms.
  • Apply data privacy, security, and governance principles.

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Programming experience in Python, Java, Scala, or similar.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud data platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark.
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory or orchestration tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, MuleSoft, or integration tools.
  • Understanding of data quality and validation techniques.
  • Interest in analytics and data-driven decision making.
