Job Description
The Global Data & Privacy Solutions Team at American Express works closely with Global Privacy Office, legal teams, and senior leadership to manage customer information requests and privacy operations in compliance with global privacy regulations.
The Apprentice role focuses on validating requests, researching information from multiple systems, and ensuring secure and timely delivery while maintaining regulatory compliance and customer service excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with multiple business units and colleagues to collect information for Data & Privacy requests
- Make decisions regarding disclosure of information while ensuring documentation accuracy
- Ensure secure communication and delivery of information as per InfoSec and Global Privacy guidelines
- Work according to regulatory timelines and escalate concerns when required
- Maintain strong understanding of privacy regulations and compliance requirements
- Work closely with Complaints & Privacy Enablement teams to improve systems and processes
- Build strong relationships and collaborate across teams to deliver the best customer outcomes
- Communicate effectively and report risks or concerns appropriately
Requirements / Skills
- Proficiency in English communication
- Knowledge of MS Office and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong collaboration skills across global business teams
