Role Overview
The Analyst – Consulting Implementation role focuses on supporting Security Operations Center (SOC) activities by monitoring security alerts, performing threat hunting, analyzing phishing emails, investigating incidents, and assisting with cyber security operations. You will work with enterprise SIEM platforms and Microsoft security technologies while collaborating with experienced cyber security professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and escalate SIEM alerts based on correlation rules.
- Analyze email protection alerts and malware-related incidents.
- Support proactive content tuning and security use case enablement.
- Perform active threat hunting using network flow, user behavior, and threat intelligence.
- Analyze phishing emails and support incident investigations.
- Raise incidents and follow incident response procedures.
- Triaging and assigning security incidents.
- Follow Incident Response Playbooks during investigations.
- Analyze HTTP, SMTP, and network logs under guidance.
- Perform quality assessments of SOC operations.
- Track process deviations and perform root cause analysis.
- Generate recommendations for process improvements and performance enhancement.
- Support quality assurance during critical cyber incidents.
- Assess investigation reports with evidence and recommended actions.
Required Skills & Eligibility
- BE/B.Tech/Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
- 0β2 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Knowledge of Cyber Security concepts and Threat Hunting.
- Hands-on understanding of SIEM tools such as Azure Sentinel, RSA, Splunk, or LogRhythm.
- Basic knowledge of Python scripting.
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Operating Systems, and Servers.
- Understanding of Incident Handling and Incident Response Playbooks.
- Ability to analyze HTTP, SMTP, and Network logs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Good analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, Azure, AWS, Defender for Office, Defender for Identity, and Microsoft Sentinel is an added advantage.
- Certifications such as CSA, CISM, CCSP, or Microsoft Azure Security certifications are preferred.
