About the Role

As an Associate Software Engineer at Diebold Nixdorf, you will work in the Infrastructure and Operations team, analyzing system issues, implementing defect fixes, and making enhancements to cloud-based solutions. This role involves Azure DevOps, containerization, messaging queues, and data analytics to support the company’s service organization in reducing call rates and improving operational efficiency.

You will be part of the ACDE team, a solution built on Azure Cloud designed to provide intelligence through analytics. The position offers remote work flexibility, requiring self-motivation and the ability to deliver high-quality code within agile sprint cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on defect fixes and minor feature implementations in Azure-based systems.

• Perform code reviews, design reviews, and collaborate with a small, distributed team.

• Utilize Azure DevOps, containerization, databases (NoSQL, relational), event hubs, and Splunk.

• Write unit tests and maintain documentation for your code.

• Assist in deployments and investigate production issues.

• Learn and apply software engineering best practices under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Education: Diploma or equivalent work experience.

• Experience: 0–2 years in software engineering (freshers eligible).
