This is a hands-on, onsite internship where you’ll contribute to visual and interaction design for desktop, web, and mobile platforms under the guidance of senior designers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Design Intern at Hexagon, you will:

• Create visual assets like icons, thumbnail graphics, and documentation graphics.

• Design high-fidelity mockups and support prototyping for desktop, web, and mobile apps.

• Work with wireframes, user flows, and design system component libraries.

• Participate in user research and feedback sessions to improve usability and UI/UX quality.

• Ensure designs follow brand guidelines and contribute to design system enhancements.

• Collaborate with the design team in design reviews, brainstorming, and industry best practices adoption.

Required Skills

Technical / Design Skills:

• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or XD.

• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.

• Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, and iconography.

• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.

• Empathy and user-first mindset in all design decisions.
