📝 Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Site Reliability Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join the team. This role is ideal for engineers interested in cloud-native technologies, system reliability, and observability, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with senior engineers and development teams to support reliability, monitoring, and performance of distributed cloud-based applications.

💼 Roles & Responsibilities

• Support monitoring and reliability efforts for HPE Networking SASE products
• Contribute to setting up dashboards and alerts using Prometheus and Grafana
• Monitor application health and respond to alerts
• Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes
• Participate in incident management activities
• Analyse data from monitoring tools to identify trends
• Support maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application behavior
• Participate in on-call rotations

🧠 Requirements / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles
• Basic understanding of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containers
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work in night shifts/on-call environment

• Exposure to scripting (Python / Shell)
• Familiarity with Linux systems
• Interest in distributed systems and cloud architectures
• Interest in automation and reliability engineering
