Job Description

The IBM Infrastructure Division builds servers, storage, systems, and cloud software that are the backbone of next-generation enterprise IT infrastructure and data centers.

At the India Systems Development Lab (ISDL), you will collaborate with technically accomplished teams and work across all phases of product development — from design and development to testing and support — in core systems and cloud software technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and support IBM Systems products across operating systems, firmware, systems software, storage, and cloud platforms.
Analyze product requirements and determine optimal design and coding strategies.
Work on validation, support, and performance optimization of IBM Systems products.
Collaborate with product management and global teams to deliver solutions.
Engage in innovative projects leveraging Agile, DevOps, and Design Thinking methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related fields.
Knowledge of Operating Systems, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Cloud concepts, Virtualization, and REST APIs.
Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Go, Ansible, and Shell scripting.
Familiarity with DevOps, microservices architecture, and GitHub.

Additional Skills for AI-Focused Roles

Proficiency in AI/ML/DL, Jupyter Notebooks, and Linux systems.
Programming expertise in Python, R, C, or Go Lang.
Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
Knowledge of NLP, modern data platforms, and open-source databases.

Preferred Technical Expertise

Practical experience with Java, Python, GoLang, ReactJS.
Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, and cloud deployment platforms.
