Role overview – .NET Fresher

As a .NET Fresher at NTT DATA Bangalore, you join a global technology team working on enterprise applications and digital transformation projects for international clients. This entry-level role is designed for graduates who are passionate about Microsoft technologies and want to build a career in .NET development within an inclusive, adaptable and forward‑thinking organization.​

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and maintenance of .NET-based applications under guidance from senior developers.​

• Write clean, basic C#/.NET code, fix bugs and support enhancement requests across modules.​

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing and documentation activities as part of the software development lifecycle.​

• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical tasks.​

• Learn and work with related technologies such as ASP.NET, .NET Core, REST APIs, SQL databases and basic frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as required by projects.​

• Continuously upgrade skills through internal training, project exposure and feedback from mentors.​

Desired qualifications & skills

•  Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field (fresh graduate or up to 1 year experience).​

• Basic understanding of .NET/C# programming, object‑oriented concepts and web/application development fundamentals.​

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is an advantage.​

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with eagerness to learn new tools and frameworks.​

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team within a global, multicultural environment.​
