What you’ll do

Eligibility & skills

  • Education:Β Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or a directly related field, obtained byΒ summer 2026, or equivalent experience.​

  • Programming:Β Prior exposure via coursework or projects; Stripe mainly usesΒ Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, and Go, but strong fundamentals matter more than specific languages.​

  • Experience working onΒ multi-person coding projectsΒ (internships, team projects, or open-source) and ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly with mentorship and self-study.​

Preferred (nice to have):

  • Deeper knowledge in one area (e.g., frontend, backend, or distributed systems) plus broad generalist skills.​

  • Familiarity withΒ code review practices, safely updating production systems, and navigating large codebases.​

Work model & office expectation
