What You’ll Build
As a Software Developer at Wokelo, you will be at the heart of our product, building the engine that powers our AI-driven insights. You will:
- Develop Scalable Backend Services: Design, test, and maintain robust APIs and services using Python and the Django Rest Framework.
- Master Database Interaction: Use the Django ORM to build efficient, high-performance, database-driven applications.
- Collaborate with a Global Team: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to design and ship new features.
- Dive into AI & Machine Learning: Get the opportunity to contribute to NLP engineering and ML model development to power our Generative AI solutions.
- Champion Code Quality: Embed high standards for testing and quality directly into the development workflow.
- Innovate and Grow: Research and implement new technologies to solve complex problems and help scale our SaaS platform.
Who We’re Looking For (Skills & Qualifications)
We are looking for quick learners and strong problem-solvers. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
Must-Have Skills:
- ✅ Experience: 0-1 years as a Software Developer.
- ✅ Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- ✅ Python & Django Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using the Django Rest Framework and Django ORM.
- ✅ Problem-Solving Mindset: Excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to solve complex problems.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- 🔥 Knowledge of NLP, Machine Learning models, or related engineering practices.
- 🔥 Familiarity with LLMs, RLHF, transformers, or embeddings.
- 🔥 Prior experience building or scaling a SaaS platform.
