Position: Junior Data Scientist

• Location: Work From Home / Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

• Type: Full-time, Fully Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract, clean, and manage datasets using Amazon Redshift and AWS data sources

• Ensure data quality and consistency for robust analytics

• Build and maintain Amazon QuickSight dashboards for KPIs, trends, and actionable insights

• Automate recurring reporting workflows; enhance dashboard interactivity

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA); provide business insights from trends and patterns

• Collaborate with Data Science, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams

• Attend sprint reviews and stakeholder discussions; support data validation

• Keep up with the latest AWS analytics services and data visualization best practices

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related field

• Strong experience with Amazon QuickSight dashboarding and reporting

• Understanding of Amazon Redshift (queries, schemas, pipelines, and data joins)

• SQL proficiency for data extraction and transformation

• Basic knowledge in Python or R (preferred, not mandatory)

• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication

• Ability to present data-driven insights clearly and concisely

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Data Analytics

• Amazon QuickSight Author Certification

• AWS Cloud Practitioner

Must Have:

• Stable internet (minimum 25 MBPS) and mobile data backup plan

• Quiet, dedicated work from home environment

• Comfortable working US Eastern Time business hours

• PC/laptop with minimum latest i5+SSD (i7 preferred), 16GB RAM (32GB preferred)
