About the Internship:

Join HSBC’s Operations team in Bangalore and work as an Analyst Intern involved in Traded Risk Analytics and Model Development functions. Contribute to innovative projects, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and gain exposure to global business analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT/Data Engineering teams to develop deployment roadmaps

• Provide clear recommendations and actionable solutions for business stakeholders worldwide

• Manage the delivery of analytics projects independently

• Contribute to the development and monitoring of Traded Risk Models

• Assist with regulatory and audit submissions

• Work on key Model Development projects and drive impactful changes

• Interact with senior stakeholders and multitask on controls & governance projects

• Support the senior onshore team in project-specific tasks

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (any discipline)

• Work Experience: Not mandatory – Freshers eligible

• Skills: Python proficiency (preferred), MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), business problem-solving, strong communication

• Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
