Role overview
This Oracle Support Junior Engineer role is part of the Application Support Service Desk (User Setup) team, providing first‑level support to customers and internal users. The position focuses on handling incidents and service requests, mainly around Oracle and financials applications, following defined IT service management processes in a UK shift, work‑from‑office environment in Noida.
Key responsibilities

Provide first‑level support by taking calls and handling incidents or service requests using incident management and request fulfilment processes, aligned with Service Desk objectives.

Log, categorize, prioritize and track tickets, ensuring timely resolution or escalation as per SLAs.

Deliver strong customer service with excellent phone etiquette and professional communication at all times.

Work comfortably in UK shifts, following the UK calendar for working days and holidays (work from office).

Diagnose issues, perform basic analysis and provide accurate information or workarounds to users.

Work in an Oracle/financials environment, supporting users on modules like GL, AP, Purchasing, AR, Order Management, FA and CM at a functional level.

Understand and use business intelligence/reporting tools for standard, modified and live reports as needed.
Required skills & profile

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Strong customer service mindset with willingness to work in a support/service desk environment.

Decent problem‑diagnosing and analytical skills with ability to learn business processes and applications.

Basic understanding of reporting or BI tools and comfort working with financial/ERP modules (Oracle Financials modules exposure is an advantage).
