Role Overview
The Trainee – SAP SD role is designed for graduates who want to build expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution while gaining practical experience with enterprise business operations. Selected candidates will support day-to-day SAP activities, work on operational tickets, collaborate with multiple teams, and learn cross-functional business processes used across Konecranes.
During the training period, candidates will strengthen their understanding of SAP S/4HANA, participate in production support activities, follow IT operational standards, and develop techno-functional consulting skills. Key Responsibilities
- Acquire strong knowledge of the SAP SD module and other cross-functional modules as required.
- Proactively pursue learning opportunities to enhance SAP and business process knowledge.
- Work on real-time operational tickets as part of daily support activities.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work in various shifts when customer support demands it.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, values, and code of conduct.
- Follow operational procedures in compliance with audit requirements.

Required Skills & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university.
- 0–1 year of domain or SAP SD experience.
- Mandatory knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Good understanding of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module.
- Exposure to Pricing, Stock Transfer Orders (STO), Consignment Sales, and Third-Party Sales is desirable.
- Awareness of ITIL concepts.
- Knowledge of IDOC and EDI processes.
- Working experience as an SAP End User is an advantage.
- Willingness to work as a techno-functional consultant.
- Understanding of LSMW and data migration concepts is desirable.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements is valued.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to take on new challenges based on business requirements.
- Comfortable using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience interacting with global teams is an added advantage.
