Role Overview – Graduate Apprentice Trainee

As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee, you will support HR and People & Culture operations at Volvo’s Hosakote plant. The role offers real-time exposure to employee relations, workforce management, payroll support, reporting, training coordination, and compliance activities.

This apprenticeship is designed to give freshers practical industry exposure while working closely with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present daily absenteeism reports and support workforce availability

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction of fixed-term employees and apprentices

• Manage contract labour operations including attendance, biometric records, and compliance

• Coordinate training programs for temporary and apprentice trainees

• Support development of employee relations and HR policies

• Assist in salary & wage administration and monthly payroll inputs

• Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives such as:

  • Birthday celebrations

  • Sports day & family day events

  • Transportation coordination

  • Cultural events (Ayudha Pooja, Karnataka Rajyotsava)

• Prepare HR dashboards and reports (Absenteeism, attendance, compliance)

• Process HR-related invoices and ensure timely vendor payments

• Support industrial visits, internships, and project trainees

• Graduation in BBA / BSW / B.Com

• Eligible Batches: 2024, 2025, and 2026 graduates
